Medprotex (short for medical protective textiles) was founded just a few months ago as a response to the Covid-19 pandemic. The company makes high-quality, certified, personal protective equipment. Given the growing demand they need to scale up their production of high quality medical face masks (type 2R) as quickly as possible. Medace helps Medprotex with the rapid completion of all the relevant quality procedures, as well with building their own QMS.
At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, young entrepreneur Nikolaj Boogaard swiftly connected his knowledge of the confection of commercial textiles at Boogaard Textiles to the network and the expertise of the medical sector of Cyrille Depondt of DSG. By adding the scientific expertise of the Aachen Maastricht Institute for Biobased Materials in the field of medical textile fibers to their team, Medprotex was born. The team looks forward to be working with Medace because of the expertise in quality assurance and quality management.
Co-founders Nikolaj Boogaard and Cyrille Depondt:
‘We have recently signed a number of very large contracts and need to scale up. Medace has the necessary knowledge and experience and is therefore the right partner for Medprotex to set up our quality systems and to guarantee our future quality levels. We look forward to a successful collaboration.’
