The Medtech4 Europe project aims to provide solutions to reduce health care costs in the context of medical technologies, a key sector in Europe, in line with the needs of an increasingly ageing population. It also aims to improve public policies supporting R&D and innovation facilities to better adapt them to the specificities of the medical technology sector.
The project is currently in its 2nd phase of the project implementation. This phase focuses on influencing policy. The Dutch partner of the project; the Province of Limburg is continuously working to progress its own medical device industry in a sustainable manner.
